The running joke (and rather truthful joke) is that “they” have predicted 9 of the last 3 recessions.

The Trump campaign not only won the electoral college, but won every swing state and also the popular vote. At the time of this writing, prospective Presidential cabinet members are in the process of being confirmed in the U.S. Senate, under the “Advise and Consent” process authorized in the Constitution.
