Henry’s career in the financial services industry has seen him hold positions with some of America’s largest pension providers and mutual fund companies, as well as running his own investment management firm. Henry joined Wealth Enhancement Group in 2021 through the Lighthouse Wealth Management acquisition.
As an authorized Certified Financial Planner™ since 2004, Henry has experience and insight in all facets of financial planning. At Wealth Enhancement Group, he specializes in global economics and investment management. He uses a mixture of both technical and fundamental analysis to guide investment decisions and keep up with changing global market dynamics.
Henry was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served as a logistics specialist from 1987 to 1992. He is also a self-trained Austrian economist and member of the Ludwig von Mises Institute. Henry, his wife Tracy and their three boys currently reside in New Market, MD. From August 2000 to July 2001, Henry and Tracy spent their honeymoon circumnavigating the globe, visiting more than 20 countries in the process. They are both avid alpine skiers.
Ed takes the responsibility that comes with the position of financial advisor very seriously. He adheres to Standards of Professional Conduct and renews his designation every two years by completing 40 hours of content-specific continuing education, reaffirming adherence to the Standards of Professional Conduct and complying with self-disclosure requirements.

His service to the community is equally important to him. Over the years he has served (and in some cases, is still serving) as a board member, committee member, Chairman, or coach of a vast array of charities, tournaments, teams, and clubs. Along with his wife Teri, he currently resides in New Market, MD. When free time allows, he enjoys golf as a member of Holly Hills Golf Course, working out, traveling with Teri and a good bottle of wine.
The financial services industry has been where Mike has successfully plied his trade for over 30 years. Over that time, he has specialized in estate planning, wealth preservation strategies and asset management. When appropriate, Mike has worked with CPAs, attorneys, and other professionals to advise clients in a more comprehensive and broad-based manner. Mike joined Wealth Enhancement Group in 2021 through the Lighthouse Wealth Management acquisition.
In his role, Mike offers his clients practical financial advice with one end goal, to help them maximize their financial potential with an eye toward retirement. He is originally from Guyana, South America and has lived in the Baltimore/Washington Metro area since 1975. He and his wife, Angie, live in Mount Airy, MD. They have two children and two grandchildren. Mike is an avid cyclist, riding long distances all over the US and Europe.
Ever since Andy entered the financial services industry, he has held firm to the belief that the prime directive for any financial advisor should be to guide individuals, families, and businesses through the ever-changing financial planning landscape with unbiased advice driven solely by his/her clients’ needs. As a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor at Wealth Enhancement Group, he continues to practice with the same mindset. He believes this profession is all about the people and helping them to achieve their dream of being able to retire in comfort and security. Andy joined Wealth Enhancement Group in 2021 through the Lighthouse Wealth Management acquisition.
Andy lives in Glenwood, MD with his wife, Melissa, and their youngest son, Connor, who is an avid baseball player. They also have two grown children, Beverly and Spencer. Andy can usually be found on a baseball field on weekends or playing golf with his family.
Katy is a seasoned professional in the financial services industry. In her early days in the investment world, Katy worked on improving the client experience and helped to quantitatively measure the social return on investment of employee programs. Currently, she especially enjoys helping families work towards reducing stress by setting and prioritizing specific goals.
Katy lives in the Pinehurst community in Lake Linganore, MD with her husband and son. She enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, or going to the playground with her son. When she’s not outdoors or sampling local craft brews, she volunteers with the New Market Green Team organizing the local farmer’s market and pursuing other initiatives to help better our planet.
After gaining what he calls “valuable life lessons” working as a basketball referee and a server in a pizza restaurant, Jonathan set out to become an Electrical Engineer. After a couple of years, he earned an Economics degree and his life path took a major turn. Jonathan’s first job in the financial services industry was with a large online broker and he has enjoyed steady progress and success since then.
In his role at Wealth Enhancement Group, he aspires to improve the financial lives of individuals and families so that they can focus more of their time and energy on what matters most to them. Outside of work, Jonathan loves his family, his dogs, the trials and tribulations of Frodo in Lord of the Rings, and the trials and tribulations of the Washington Wizards in the NBA.
Justin started his career in the financial services industry while working for a large brokerage firm in Frederick, MD. The position entails quite a lot of client contact, a great deal of meeting with the Advisors and Senior Advisors, and an enormous amount of being available to help out wherever is needed within the team. All of these tasks fit well with Justin’s eagerness to help and his commitment to put the client’s needs above all else. Justin lives in Middletown, MD with his fiancée Juliette and their dog Romeo. Outside the office, he enjoys cooking, wakeboarding, and coaching basketball for Special Olympics Frederick County.
Will was first introduced to financial planning while he was still in college, spending time as an intern with a local financial planning firm. He started a full-time career in financial services in 2018, working for a large financial firm where he helped Maryland teachers in setting up and maintaining retirement plans and insurances.
Will’s current role requires a broad understanding of the basic principles of financial management, strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain client relationships, and a thorough attention to detail and process. Fortunately for his clients and his colleagues, Will possesses all these things in abundance. Outside the office, Will enjoys weight training, cycling, and fishing.
Atlanta was the backdrop for Ellen’s entry into the financial services industry, but when her husband was transferred with his work, Maryland became home for the Ottens. The ability to multi-task is a must as Ellen lends her expert touch to new client onboarding, relationship management and client review prep and follow-up.
Ellen and her husband, Ron, have three children; Benjamin and MaKenna both attend The University of Georgia, and Andrew who is currently in high school. As a proud Wisconsin native, Ellen makes no apologies for her love of the Badgers and the Packers!
Cindy always enjoyed working with both numbers and people, so she decided to pursue a career in the finance field. After a few years in the retail banking segment, Cindy shifted into wealth management. Her time spent working alongside different advisors and at different firms has given her a wide range of experience, all of which serves her well in her position at Wealth Enhancement Group.
Cindy is originally from Philadelphia but now resides in Mount Airy, MD with her husband, Steve, and their two cats, Holmes and Watson. She enjoys anything outdoors, wrenching on her cars, watching football, and relaxing on the front porch with a good book.
Over the course of three decades in the financial services industry, Jullie has worked in just about every role connected to taxation or accounting. That includes operating her own tax preparation & consulting firm, and many years in ‘Big 4’ public accounting. Jullie has transitioned from her previous role as Financial Officer to her current position of Tax Analyst at Wealth Enhancement Group. This allows her to do what she does best, working with clients to ensure their financial planning goals function in tandem with their tax related goals. Jullie, a Maryland native, resides in New Market with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel ‘fur baby’, Stewart. In her free time, you can find Jullie hiking the great outdoors, traveling to warm weather destinations, or sipping wine at one of the many fabulous local wineries.
After six years of working in the accounting field, Roushan gained real world experience that can’t be taught in books, learning valuable knowledge and diversifying her accounting skills. In 2007, Roushan moved to Frederick, Maryland where she worked at a local CPA firm until she decided to focus on starting a family.
Since returning to work in 2014, Roushan has become a licensed Maryland Tax Preparer and earned her certification as a QuickBooks Pro. Her years of experience in individual tax return preparation, bookkeeping and payroll, make Roushan hugely important to all of her colleagues on the Wealth Enhancement Group tax team.
Roushan and her two daughters enjoy the small town feel of Frederick but also enjoy being close to cities. Of all of the wonderful things living in Frederick has to offer, it’s being together with her daughters that Roushan enjoys most.
