Question

What is direct indexing?

Answer

Direct indexing is an investment strategy where an investor purchases the individual underlying stocks of an index rather investing in an index mutual fund or ETF. This strategy allows you to replicate a market index while giving you more control over portfolio construction and tax management compared to traditional index funds or ETFs.
