About
Gene Larkin is a Senior Vice President at Wealth Enhancement with more than 30 years of experience helping clients plan for wealth accumulation, preservation, and transfer goals. Gene works with clients to navigate complex financial decisions by coordinating investment management with tax and estate planning considerations designed to support their financial objectives.
Born and raised in New York, Gene graduated from Columbia University in 1984 with a degree in Economics. In 1987, Gene moved to Minnesota to play professional baseball with the Minnesota Twins and was part of two World Series championship teams in 1987 and 1991. In the 1991 World Series against Atlanta, Gene drove in the winning run in the tenth inning of Game 7.
Following his athletic career, Gene transitioned to financial services and joined New Era Financial Group in 1995. In 2023, New Era became part of Wealth Enhancement, where Gene continues to provide financial planning guidance and long-term wealth management support to clients and their families.
