Andy Metzler

Andy is a third-generation Certified Risk Advisor with over 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industries, helping business owners and executives manage and strategically plan for their businesses and wealth.

Andy’s approach is shaped by a rare blend of disciplines. In addition to his work in financial planning and asset management, he brings deep experience in the property & casualty and captive insurance space—allowing him to evaluate risk, capital, and long-term strategy through a broader lens than traditional advisors. This integrated perspective helps clients align business risk, employee programs, and personal financial goals into one coordinated plan.

A graduate of the renown Kenan-Flagler Business School (BSBA) at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, Andy attended UNC on a tennis scholarship. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is deeply committed to his family and giving back to his community. A two-time cancer survivor, Andy is passionate about fundraising for Get Your Rear in Gear in support of the Colon Cancer Coalition. He lives in the Kansas City area with his wife and four children, and enjoys CrossFit training, golf, and Tar Heel victories.
