Larry has been providing financial planning and investment guidance to families for more than four decades. He joined Wealth Enhancement Group through the 2016 merger with Sound Financial Solutions, where he was president and co-founder of the firm. Prior to founding Sound Financial Solutions in 2005, Larry was a financial consultant with Sagemark Consulting.
He has authored numerous articles and was a contributing author of the book Managing Sales Professionals. Larry conducts Continuing Education courses for Certified Public Accountants and he also has taught Chartered Life Underwriter® and Chartered Financial Consultant® courses at the University of Houston. He is a four-time (2017-2020) recipient of the "Five Star Wealth Manager" award as noted in Texas Monthly magazine.2
Larry completed his bachelor’s degree at Bethany College in Bethany, WV, and went on to earn a Master of Science in Financial Services at The American College of Financial Services in Bryn Mawr, PA, in 1991.
Residing in the Galleria area of Houston with his wife, Marsha, Larry has three grown sons and six grandchildren. When away from the office, he enjoys hunting, fishing and walking with his bride of 43 years. He is also an experienced boater.
