With 20+ years of experience in comprehensive financial planning, Fred is known for his thoughtful approach, deep technical knowledge, and genuine commitment to client relationships. He believes effective planning begins with truly understanding each client’s personal history, values, goals, and objectives—because financial planning is never just about numbers; it’s about people.

Fred is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). He has a long history of contributing to the advancement of financial education, serving as an educator and judge for Oregon State University’s Lifetime Financial Planning Contest from 2008 to 2014 and later teaching as an adjunct professor in the university’s Financial Planning MBA program in 2016. His insights have also been featured in publications such as Kiplinger Magazine and Wealth Magazine.

Fred’s philosophy centers on building lasting trust and guiding clients through both everyday decisions and major life transitions. He considers it his responsibility and privilege to act in each client’s best interest, helping them gain clarity, make informed choices, and feel confident about their financial future.

Fred and his wife, Amy, have been married for 30+ years and are proud parents to their two adult children, Taylor and Peyton. Outside of work, Fred is active in athletics, whether performing, coaching, or enthusiastically supporting his family in their own activities.
