Steve Petcovic has dedicated more than 25 years to serving families in the financial services industry, helping clients navigate life’s most important financial decisions with confidence and clarity. For the past 23 years, he has been instrumental in building and growing the local Petcovic Team into a trusted advisory practice known for its client-first approach, long-term relationships, and commitment to excellence. Throughout his career, Steve has served in a variety of leadership roles, including more than a decade as Chief Compliance Officer. He joined Wealth Enhancement Group in 2021 through The Wealth Enhancement acquisition and was recognized as a Five-Star Wealth Manager Award recipient (2022-2025). *

Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, Steve attended Grove City College, where he earned a degree in Financial Management and met his wife, Alyx. Before entering the financial services industry, he worked with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he developed a deep appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and leadership. Those experiences helped shape the values that continue to guide both his professional career and personal life today.

Steve and Alyx have been married for more than 20 years and consider their greatest blessing to be the family they have built together. They are proud parents whose lives have been shaped by each of their boys, including the lasting impact of their son, Chasen, who passed away unexpectedly at age 13 due to a rare genetic heart condition. While the loss forever changed their family, Steve and Alyx have chosen to transform their grief into purpose through the creation of the Live Like Chasen Foundation.

Founded in Chasen’s honor, the foundation is dedicated to carrying forward the spirit, kindness, joy, and generosity that defined his life. Through community outreach, charitable initiatives, heart health awareness, and support for families facing adversity, Steve and Alyx strive to turn tragedy into hope and create a legacy that inspires others to live with greater compassion, courage, and purpose.

Today, the Petcovic family resides in Milton, Georgia, where they remain deeply involved in their community. Steve enjoys traveling, sports, outdoor activities, and mentoring young athletes through youth sports. Whether helping clients pursue their financial goals, coaching and encouraging the next generation, or advancing the mission of the Live Like Chasen Foundation, Steve is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others and leaving a positive impact for future generations.
