Michael Fitzgerald

Michael’s career path has taken him from auditing Fortune 500 energy companies to owning a highly successful chain of retail stores, and then building and growing his own wealth management company over the past 18 years. Immediately prior to joining Wealth Enhancement Group, Michael was the Founder and President of Fitzgerald Wealth Management, an advice driven, financial planning based firm focused on leading clients to financial independence and security. His individual practice within the firm focused on serving the financial and estate planning needs of C-Suite, senior and middle management executives of large companies, entrepreneurs/business owners, retirees, widows and divorcees.

Michael lives with his wife, Helen, in Katy, Texas. They have two children, Blake and Taryn. As a parent of a child with Down Syndrome, Michael actively supports many local charities, with a concentration on those assisting individuals with disabilities. He is the past Board President of the Family to Family Network, a Houston-based non-profit providing information, training, referral and support services to families with children having disabilities. Currently, Michael serves as an advisory board member to Catholic Charites taking an active role on the Finance Committee reporting directly to the organization’s Board of Directors.
