Courtney is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional who has worked in financial planning and wealth management since 2016. She enjoys getting to know clients, understanding what matters most to them, and helping them make thoughtful financial decisions at every stage of life.

Courtney helps clients navigate the financial decisions that come with building wealth, preparing for life after work, and living confidently in retirement. She works closely with clients on investments, tax strategies, retirement planning, and estate planning, helping ensure each element works together as part of a cohesive financial plan. Courtney especially enjoys helping clients prepare for major life transitions, create sustainable retirement income strategies, and make tax-smart financial decisions. She is also passionate about financial education and believes continuous learning is an important part of making sound financial decisions.

Courtney graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Tech with a degree in Business and a concentration in Financial Planning and Wealth Management. While at Virginia Tech, she was a four-year member of the varsity women’s soccer team. One of the highlights of her collegiate soccer career was advancing to the 2013 NCAA Women’s College Cup Final Four with her teammates.

Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband, Maclain, and their son, Henry. She is passionate about America’s national parks and hopes to visit all 63 during her lifetime. She also volunteers with the Paws to Read program at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library alongside her corgi, Pippa, helping children build confidence and develop a love of reading.
