Jeff Dekko

Jeff Dekko is a proven growth leader who brings more than 35 years of experience leading teams across marketing, finance, operations, and technology to his role as Chief Executive Officer of Wealth Enhancement. He has served as CEO since 2003, guiding more than two decades of the firm’s growth from a regional advisory business managing $600 million in client assets to a top ten* national Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) with over $165 billion in client assets and over 2,000 employees across the country.

Under Jeff’s leadership, Wealth Enhancement has experienced consistent growth with a focus on client engagement, brand strategy, and innovation. Drawing on his early experience in consumer marketing, he has helped develop Wealth Enhancement’s client acquisition strategies, deepen existing relationships, and build a trusted national brand.

Prior to joining Wealth Enhancement, Jeff held key strategic and marketing roles at Fortune 500 companies such as General Mills. He also played a pivotal leadership role at Recovery Engineering before its successful sale to Procter & Gamble. Throughout his career, Jeff has led initiatives in technology and management consulting that shaped his philosophy around innovation, disciplined execution, and sustainable growth.

Jeff is committed to Wealth Enhancement’s founding principle of a team-based approach and believes that building a high-performance team of mission-oriented people drives the best outcomes for clients and for the firm. Developing people, fostering mentorship, and creating a supportive, collaborative culture are fundamental to his leadership philosophy.

This commitment to purpose, performance, and continuous improvement extends to Jeff’s pursuits outside of Wealth Enhancement, where he serves on the Board of Trustees for the United States Ski and Snowboard Association. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys fly fishing, hiking, and backcountry skiing, and recently achieved a personal challenge to complete the six World Marathon Majors in 17 months. Jeff earned his MBA in finance and strategy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
