Prior to her career in personal financial planning, Maura worked in the investment banking industry for over a decade as an Institutional Futures and Options Specialist. She was also a Wealth Management Advisor at a Fortune 100 financial services organization and an Investment Advisor and Financial Planning Consultant at two of the largest brokerage firms in the country. Maura also holds a Health and Life Insurance license.
In her current role, Maura leverages her 30 years of experience in the financial services industry to help clients pursue their long-term financial goals. She maintains all aspects of the client relationship, conducts in-depth financial analyses, delivers comprehensive portfolio recommendations and actively monitors clients’ financial plans and overall portfolio performance.
Tom is a seasoned professional with decades of experience in the financial services industry. In one of his earlier roles, Tom worked as a Financial Planner for one of the world’s largest tax advisory firms. His skills cover all aspects of wealth management including retirement income planning and employer benefit plans.
In his current role, Tom maintains all aspects of the client relationship; including comprehensive portfolio recommendations, client review meetings, and financial analysis. He actively monitors clients’ investments and overall portfolio performance to ensure goals remain aligned.
Tom is a Five Star Wealth Manager as seen in New Jersey Monthly magazine for six consecutive years.
A commitment to service is second nature to Mandie, in fact, it’s one of her core values. Other than taking 10 years off to take care of her two children, Mandie has been acting as a trusted liaison between clients and their respective Advisors since she started in the financial services industry.
Paying attention to details, truly believing in the importance of client service and fostering lasting relationships are what Mandie brings to the table every day here at Wealth Enhancement Group. Mandie and her husband live in Morris County, NJ with their 17-year-old son and their 15-year-old daughter. They love spending time together and traveling, especially when a trip to Disney World is on the cards!
With over 40 years of experience working in various roles within the industry, Allison has acquired a multitude of skills related to the wealth management process. At one point, she worked as a Regional Operations Manager at a large brokerage firm, covering territory from Maine to North Carolina.
In her current role, Allison handles the creation, processing, and follow-up of client paperwork to ensure everything is accurate and organized. She is a passionate ice hockey fan; her family has held season tickets for the New Jersey Devils since 1983.
Over the course of his long career in the financial services industry, Joe has performed a wide variety of roles and responsibilities. One of which as Corporate Actions Manager where he oversaw the processing of all mandatory related events for client accounts.
Joe has also held the title of Risk Control Director where he balanced books and records of the firm versus external custodian records as well as oversaw the regulatory reporting functions of the offshore teams. In his current role, he supports the team by overseeing the creation, processing and follow-up of client paperwork.
Before arriving in the wealth management industry, Debi had a diverse administrative background in education, the legal field and the nonprofit sector. Over the course of her working life, she’s held positions ranging from Receptionist to Office Manager to Paralegal.
All of her previous experience supports her current role where Debi upholds the firm’s superior service standard to ensure an exceptional client experience.
A short spell as an Intern was followed by Nick’s arrival as a full-time employee in the wealth management arena.
In his current role, Nick works in tandem with the advisors by offering support in preparing for client meetings and engaging in research. He also collaborates with the business development team in an effort to create meaningful opportunities for the firm to grow.
Alex has started his career in the financial services industry where his duties included communicating with clients, establishing and clearing onboarding accounts, and resolving any documentation or transfer issues. His exceptional communication skills and ability to work under strict deadlines help him excel in his role.
Alex currently lives in Princeton, NJ where he enjoys traveling and sports.
Joy has amassed more than 20 years of experience providing administrative support to senior executives in a variety of industries including publicly traded companies, academia, and manufacturing firms. Her excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well her discretion with confidential data and highly sensitive information make Joy an excellent fit for her role within the Wealth Enhancement Group.
Originally from Texas, Joy currently lives in Long Valley, NJ with her husband of almost 30 years. She loves hiking, biking, reading, music, cooking and any and all things that are “warm weather” related!
The financial sector hasn’t always been Heidi’s professional home. Early in her career, she oversaw the weekly sale operations and distribution process for one of the largest grocery chains on the East Coast. Heidi also built the Merchant Services group for a large consumer credit provider and headed up the Service and Support group for a specialized technology provider in the advertising industry.
In her role, Heidi works toward ensuring advisors and staff remain informed about (and trained on) changing industry regulations and requirements. She also serves as Compliance Liaison, responsible for facilitating the execution of our compliance requirements and responsibilities in relation to our broker/dealers.
Don’s diverse experience across multiple industries has provided him with the solid grounding and a broad skill set needed to succeed at whatever position or responsibilities he has accepted.
Previously, Don worked as a Mortgage Loan Officer, an Information Technology Analyst, and most recently as Office and Facilities Manager. In that role, Don was primarily responsible for the effective management of the company’s operational systems, facilities, accounts payable, and payroll.
Eric has traveled along a diverse and interesting career path. At various points, Eric has worked for a financial consulting firm where he focused on strategic advisory, business development, and private and public investments across multiple industries. He was also Vice President at a diversified asset management firm based in New York City. In addition to being a member of their investment team, his primary responsibilities included research, securities analysis and portfolio administration for their alternative equity strategy.
Before making his latest seamless transition, Eric was Manager of Investment Management, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Investment Management Department. In this role, he oversaw trading, research, model management, portfolio reporting, client service and communication as well as all back-office functions.
At every step in his career, Joel has spent countless hours working alongside his clients to thoroughly explain their portfolios, answer their questions and help them with the day-to-day handling of their accounts.
Joel comes to the Compliance Associate position directly from his role as Business Development Specialist. In that role, he was responsible for building and maintaining the firm’s relationships with various institutions while also working to identify opportunities for the firm’s growth, a task that combined his knowledge in both financial planning and communications. Those talents are constantly on display as Joel makes his mark in the Compliance field. Joel also holds a New Jersey Life Insurance license.
Chris brings more than 10 years of professional experience that has provided him with extensive knowledge of multiple sophisticated investment strategies and of the financial services industry as a whole. Currently, Chris co-manages two equity strategies, contributes to the due diligence of potential investments, provides recommendations for portfolio construction, and monitors performance on an ongoing basis.
Earlier in his career, Chris was an Equity Research Analyst at Loomis, Sayles, & Co., an institutional investment manager with over $250 billion in assets under management, and prior to that, worked as an Equity Research Associate at Manning & Napier, an investment management firm managing approximately $25 billion.
When he is not working, Chris enjoys spending time with his daughter hiking, boating, and going to the beach.
Kristie’s resumé showcases almost 30 years of customer service experience in a wide variety of roles. Previously, Kristie has a very successful tenure as a Portfolio Administrator & Billing Specialist, responsible for the timely and accurate processing of trading activity and the reconciliation and maintenance of trading records. She also has experience as an Operations & Data Specialist, providing administrative support for the firm’s data management system and secure document portal.
As a Platform Integration Specialist, Kristie’s main goal every day is to maintain the safety and security of the network, ensuring that it is operating smoothly and efficiently. In her free time, Kristie volunteers at a local nonprofit children’s theater by helping out wherever needed, including set construction, directing, and costuming.
Since entering the financial services sector, John has worked as an Analyst, an Operations and Data Support Specialist, and as an Advisor Support Specialist. John’s combination of advanced technical skills and detail-oriented research acumen are highly valued in his role as a Platform Integration Specialist with the Wealth Enhancement Group.
Along with his advanced knowledge of data management, John is also well versed with client meetings and giving a great experience. All of which has paved the way for his current role where he provides a plethora of reports and research for clients as well as maintains various software and technology. The workweek allows John to showcase his problem-solving ability, but on the weekend you’re more than likely to find him solving problems on the golf course near his home in Florham Park, NJ.
With over a decade in the financial services industry, Lindsay ensures a high level of quality is maintained in all marketing and corporate communications by adhering to corporate brand standards and compliance requirements. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Marketing and Organizational Leadership Management from Cedarville University in Ohio.
Prior to joining the wealth management industry, Omar was an intern at a technology company in its Business Development department, where his problem-solving skills and attention to detail were highly valued. His current role within the Wealth Enhancement Group uses these same qualities, as well as Omar’s analytical approach and business insight to assist Financial Planners as they chart their clients’ course to a comfortable and stable financial future.
Omar holds a degree in Finance from The College of New Jersey, where he was a starting player of the school’s varsity men’s tennis team. Other than a continued interest in tennis, Omar also enjoys biking, hiking, and general fitness. He currently lives in Parsippany, NJ.
