Candidates for the award are judged on ten eligibility and evaluation criteria that are associated with providing quality services to clients. These criteria include industry credentials, experience and assets under management, number of households served, among other factors. While 2,125 award candidates in the San Diego area were considered for the Five Star Wealth Manager award, only 10% of the award candidates were named 2023 Five Star Wealth Managers.

This award was issued on December 1, 2022 by Five Star Professional for the time period of March 21, 2022 through September 16, 2022. Professionals do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list of Five Star Wealth Managers. Wealth managers are defined as the individuals who help their clients prepare a financial plan and/or implement aspects of their financial plan. The Five Star award is not indicative of a professional’s future performance and may not be representative of any one client’s experience.
