Candidates for the award are judged on ten eligibility and evaluation criteria that are associated with providing quality services to clients. These criteria include industry credentials, experience and assets under management, number of households served, among other factors. While 1,818 award candidates in the Pittsburgh area were considered for the Five Star Wealth Manager award, only 13% of the award candidates were named 2023 Five Star Wealth Managers.

This award was issued on June 1st, 2023 by Five Star Professional for the time period of September 12, 2022 through March 31st, 2023. Professionals do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list of Five Star Wealth Managers. Wealth managers are defined as the individuals who help their clients prepare a financial plan and/or implement aspects of their financial plan. The Five Star award is not indicative of a professional’s future performance and may not be representative of any one client’s experience.
