We want our clients to understand their financial options so that they can make the best decision for their unique situation. We provide clients with forward-thinking wealth management services to help them acquire, accumulate and retain wealth. Hence our name, Wealth Enhancement Group.
What professional registrations, licenses and designations do the advisors and team have?
All advisors hold their securities registrations* and insurance licenses. In addition, our team and advisors are comprised of CFPs (Certified Financial Planner™ Professionals), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), CPAs, Juris Doctor, RFC (Registered Financial Consultant), FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute), ACS (Associate Customer Service LOMA), masters in Economics degrees and one individual in pursuit of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation.

How do Wealth Enhancement Group advisors make money?
Your initial consultation is free of cost and without obligation. After the initial consultation, our advisors are compensated through fees and/or commissions (based entirely on the actions taken by our clients and on the recommendations made by the advisor and other team members). If a comprehensive financial plan or analysis is necessary, typically a time-based fee is charged.
Is Wealth Enhancement Group affiliated with a Registered Investment Advisory firm?
Yes, we are registered with the SEC as a Registered Investment Advisory Firm under the name Wealth Enhancement Advisory Services.
Is Wealth Enhancement Group captive to a larger corporation? (i.e., Do you sell proprietary products?)
Wealth Enhancement Group is an independent firm offering wealth management strategies, greater flexibility and choices based on your goals. Our obligation is to our clients — no one else.
How many clients does Wealth Enhancement Group have?
Currently, our firm has over 8,000 clients and assets under management exceeding $2.0 billion.
How are clients kept informed? What ongoing services can they expect?
Actual ongoing services performed are determined by the client and advisor. We maintain open phone lines for our clients to access our team. Our clients are eligible to attend Wealth Enhancement Group educational seminars and events (at no cost). In addition, clients receive a quarterly newsletter and are notified of changes within the industry that may affect them.
Can disciplines be on hand to support your financial advisors?
Our teams have expertise in financial planning, tax strategies, investment management, insurance and estate planning, focusing on comprehensive wealth management strategies for our clients in support of our financial advisors.
Why does Wealth Enhancement Group require proper identification?
Wealth Enhancement Group places a high priority on adhering to all regulations and procedures set forth by the government on the financial industry. This is to maintain our client’s confidentiality and safety of information. In order to continue doing so, Wealth Enhancement Group must verify identity to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities. Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. This means that when you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
