Marketing (Content and Design) Coordinator - Plymouth, MN

Job Description and Specifications

If you enjoy being part of a fast-paced marketing team and have experience with design, editing, CRM systems and marketing campaigns, we have a great opportunity for you.

This position provides day-to-day campaign and project support to cross-functional members of our marketing team. In this role you will: 1) Make design updates to existing collateral pieces and marketing campaign assets, 2) Develop new design assets, 3) Research relevant industry and consumer media sites to generate content ideas and 4) Support copywriting and editing of content pieces as they are developed.

Additionally you will:

  • Utilize marketing automation software, HubSpot, to help manage our interactive marketing campaigns
  • Aid in data management within our marketing automation and CRM systems
  • Assist our Sr. Media Relations Specialist on radio program topic research and planning and research company and individual award recognition programs
  • Support our Corporate Events Specialist and Direct Marketing Specialist with projects as needed

Position Requirement

  • 4-year degree marketing, business or communications
  • 2 years of diverse marketing experience
  • Proficiency with InDesign and Photoshop and a strong eye for design
  • Strong business writing skills for copywriting and content development
  • Solid project management and organization skills

Accounting Supervisor - Plymouth, MN

Job Description and Specifications

The Accounting Supervisor has four main objectives; (1) Ensure an accurate and timely monthly financial close; (2) Oversight of accounting operations - payroll, accounts payable, fixed assets; (3) Finance Partner for designated departments; (4) Participation in budgeting and forecasting process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, maintains supporting documentation and spreadsheets
  • Assists with budget preparation and perform various comparative analyses; financial forecasting and budgeting activities related to payroll, benefits and fixed assets
  • Reviews budget to actual results, analyzes variances, assists with budgeting and forecasting, responds to internal customer inquiries
  • Provides support to SVP Financial Reporting for inquiries regarding accounting policies, procedures, and issues from management, auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Manages the day-to-day activities of the core accounting functions. Ensures each function has the necessary knowledge, skills and capabilities to execute efficient and effective transaction processing while maintaining a high level of customer confidence
  • Oversees payroll preparation/processing; including payroll systems maintenance and ensuring the payroll process is completed accurately and timely
  • Oversees accounts payable and fixed asset processing; including accounting systems maintenance and ensuring the processes are completed accurately and timely
  • Develops and maintains performance standards for each area and implements appropriate metrics to monitor compliance, accuracy, throughput, customer service, etc.
  • Ensures adequate cross-training and back-up strategies are implemented for all functions.
  • Maintains in-depth working knowledge of the financial systems and processes. Reviews and revises processes as needed for each function. Creates a culture of continuous improvement
  • Provides input, analysis and reconciliation to the companies benefit plans
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 5 years accounting experience; with supervisory experience
  • ADP Payroll experience required
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Designation and/or CPA certification desired
  • Strong transactional system skills with proven track record of leading related process improvements
  • Microsoft Office with superior Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized and comprehensive working knowledge of accounting principles
  • Demonstrated aptitude for accounting and reporting systems, with the ability to streamline data via Excel (pivot tables or reports) to improve information content
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a team environment
  • Financial Services / professional services experience

New Client Specialist – Plymouth, MN

Job Description and Specifications

The primary objective for the New Client Specialist is to screen and generate client leads and to set high-quality introductory meetings for our Advisory teams. Leads are generated through several marketing channels including, media, incoming calls, outbound calls, website inquiries and seminars.

  1. Promote lead conversion rates by generating leads through phone or written communication
  2. Support lead generation campaigns; be available to take calls during campaign times
  3. Receive inbound RSVP calls for seminars and make follow up confirmation calls
  4. Support mailing of introductory meeting packets for seminars and direct campaign materials
  5. Input client data in the CRM and clean current data to support reporting
  6. Maintain knowledge of financial services industry, products and company
  7. Comply with all WEG and affiliated companies compliance policies and procedures; Securities industry rules and regulations along with WEG’s Broker/Dealer compliance procedures
  8. Hours: Mostly 8:00 to 5:00pm with flexibility to work occasional evenings and Saturday mornings as leads dictate
  9. Ability to work Sunday morning, to support radio show promotions. Approximately 3-4 times year

Education/Certification Requirements

  • Requires a 4-years degree; preferred
  • Series 7 and 63 FINRA licenses required, (66)
  • Sales Experience, financial services preferred

Technology Operations Manager - Plymouth, MN

Job Description and Specifications

Wealth Enhancement Group is an independent financial planning firm, proud of its strong tradition of providing clients with in-depth strategies that enhance wealth. We are currently looking to add talent to IT team.

The Technology Operations Manager primary responsibilities are to: 1) Manage the Helpdesk and support the operations of the Technology Department; 2) Support, update and maintain existing company hardware and software; 3) Support remote sites network and technology inventory and 4) Establish and maintain IT user accounts, systems; hardware and physical access functions for hires and terminating employees.

Duties:

  1. Provide support and guidance to end users, in partnership with Helpdesk service provider
  2. Manage support requests, documenting and providing a resolution within the issue management system
  3. Support WEG applications enabling efficient, consistent access to end users
  4. Perform routine maintenance tasks ensuring a healthy domain, secure network and data recovery
  5. Maintain Active Directory with moves, adds and changes to user, group and computer objects
  6. Maintain and update inventory of users, computers and software. Deploy/recover assets throughout the company
  7. Ensure remote office equipment is installed and connected properly maintaining a highly available environment
  8. Create and deliver training for new employees, or as new services are deployed to users

Position Requirements:

  • Strong organizational/time management skills and ability to prioritize workload effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Expert support for Microsoft Operating Systems and MS Office Applications
  • Familiar with Terminal Server and Citrix XenServer/XenApp User Support
  • Network data and application troubleshooting and support experience
  • Active Directory administration Expert
  • Familiar with support issue tracking software and methodology

Education/Certifications Preferred:

  • 4 year college degree, with IT concentration preferred or equivalent experience required
  • MCSE/MCSA certifications or equivalent experience preferred

There are three primary objectives for the Sr. Financial Planner, Tax Specialist: 1)Provide tax planning support and research to Financial Advisors and Planners; 2) Create and deliver customized financial plans tailored to meet client’s needs; 3) Support the Financial Advisor in client introduction meetings, financial plan presentations and review meetings.

Position Requirements:

• 7+ years experience providing comprehensive financial planning.

         o Expertise with retirement income distribution planning and retirement account tax laws

• Proficiency using BNA and other related systems

• Exposure to registered investment advisory services

• Proficiency using Financial Planning Software

• Proficiency in Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook

• Proven communication, organization, analytical and proofreading skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects; organize and prioritize work flow to meet productivity standards and strict deadlines for plan completion

• Highest ethical standards

• Ability to work effectively with internal team members and clients. Education/Certifications Requirements: Qualified Candidates will possess a Bachelors degree in Finance, Business or Accounting; CPA; Securities licenses Series 7 and 66 and Insurance license. CFP or other related advanced designation is desired.
