Jim Sandager, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ with a master’s of business administration in financial planning and investments. Jim earned his MBA at Bowling Green University in Ohio and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. Jim co-hosts the popular WHO radio program, “Your Money,” with Bruce Helmer. He regularly writes a personal finance column for the Des Moines Register’s Sunday Business section. Using his knowledge and background he coauthored, “What Consumers Look for in Financial Planners” (Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education). Jim has served as treasurer of the Midwest Board of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors and chairman of the Financial Planning Association of Iowa and is actively involved in the Greater Des Moines community. In his free time he enjoys reading and traveling. Jim and his wife, Louisa, have two children, Philip and Molly.
