Dave is an innovator in an industry where “conventional wisdom” leads many down the wrong path.  His creation of the MONEY MATRIX™ strategy for Wealth Enhancement Group clients is just one example of how his extensive experience has lead to new creative solutions that challenge misleading “conventional” thinking—thinking and principles perpetuated by a twentieth century Wall Street mentality that focuses on transactions, costs, and performance; while ignoring safety of principal, tax efficient access to funds, and the impact of behavioral finance on successful retirement and estate planning.
 
Dave brings over 35 years of financial industry experience to his clients and team.  A graduate of both the University of Minnesota Business and Law Schools, along with having practiced Tax at one of the largest CPA firms in the world, form the basis for his technical knowledge and wisdom. Teaching Estate and Gift Taxation in the Masters of Business Taxation program at the University of Minnesota along with years of trust and estate planning experience make him an invaluable resource to the clients and Teams of advisors at the firm.
